Remember my Trip to dead sea last year here in Jordan? yes. that was the most popular tourist spot in this country. However their favorite beach which we called the “bora version” of Jordan name– Aqaba. According to my friend wikipedia, Aqaba is strategically important to Jordan as it is the country’s only seaport. Aqaba is well known for its beach resorts and luxury hotels, which service those who come for diving, fun in the sand as well as watersports like windsurfing and Scuba diving. It also offers activities which take advantage of its desert location.

Last April 27, 2012 the Philippine Embassy of Jordan raised a fun and exciting outing in Aqaba public beach. Since I haven’t been in aqaba in my 2 years in this country, I already grab the opportunity. There is no certain activities just pure swimming, taking photos, picnic, shopping and just enjoying the fresh air away from the busy city of Amman.

The trip will only take 4 hours from the city of Amman. However our bus driver is the most slowest driver I have ever seen lol. We departed at 5am and arrived at 11am. It made us so bored and caused a lot of pain in the ass. But the beauty of scenery and big formation of stone attracted our attention and appreciate the beauty of God’s creation.

As soon as we arrived we’ve seen many people in the beach eating and swimming. It was so hot so we all jump in the water after a long travel. Since I’m also practicing my Photography *kuno* I take some of the pictures of my friends. Like I told you, if I’m not included in the picture that means I’m the Photographer. lol.

My first boating experience is awesome. I feel like I’m really turista. Sosyal. The boat has this small window or hole to see what’s down beneath the sea. All I can see are those cute starfish and corrals.

Pictorial is my favorite part. I love taking photos of other people and capturing happy moments.

After pampering ourselves in the beach. We go to the nearest market and find some cheap and beautiful comforter, towels, dress and many more.

The last part of the trip is stopover and enjoying kulitan times with my friends in the bus. Looks like I’m tired with all my pictures here.

Aqaba trip is a great experience and memories to bring along us. But rating Aqaba as 10 is the highest score. I will only give 5 star. Why? because Aqaba is nothing compared to our beach in the Philippines. Sounds like bias? but this is the truth. Aqaba is just like an ordinary beach of an ordinary beach in the Philippines. However I still appreciate the beauty of the sea and the experience of being in Aqaba. Enjoy watching our video while in the boat.

During my free time or day off from my work. You will usually catch me watching movies in my laptop. Mostly are English & Korean movies. My all time favorite movies are Titanic, A walk to remember and My sassy girl.I have the new list of my favorite movies.

1. New Years Eve- A romantic comedy film featuring an ensemble cast. The plot is evolving around different characters having their own stories of their life, all just happen in 1 day before new year. A story about hope, love, chance and faith. The setting all took place in the most awaiting ball drop in New York. This movie is really touching and I even cry in the last part. I’m such a drama girl. lol. 6 stars for this movie..

2. Inception- I like the idea of getting into the subconscious mind of the target persons using the dream of a dream to extract valuable information. I never imagine that someone can make a movie with a very interesting work of mind. I even do play-pause-rewind during the entire movie time. I need to comprehend every single detail of the story because it is so confusing and need lot’s of analization. Leonardo di Caprio is still one of the my favorite actor even he is a bit old now. Recommended movie for all those who love sci-fi and psycho movies. 5 star for this movie.

3. Hugo- Best 3D film I ever saw so far. A story about a guy who struggle to know the unsaid message by his father who is known to be the clock master in paris sadly die in the museum. A left Automaton which he try to fix believing that it has the message for him. The automaton is a way to connect his life and find a new family under Georges Méliès a retired film maker which is in the end adopt him and treated Hugo as part of the family. The best thing about this film is the cinematography, sound effects and the 3D itself. 5 star for this movie.

4. Ang babae sa Septik tank (The woman in the Septic Tank)- A Filipino indifilm movie about three misguided newly graduates film maker. Believes that their movie project is an oscar winning if they could only show the side of poverty in the Philippines. Casting the comedy queen Eugene Domingo which they believe can portray the role effectively. Deliberating the scenario of the movie only leads them to the reality of their chosen subject. The film is very boring in the first encounter but through out the movie scene, you will see the determination of the Filipino’s to show the strive for hope, ambition and persevearance. Recommended for book report in Tagalog project. 5 star for this movie.

5. Shutter Island- As you can see this is another movie from Leonardo. I admit I’m such a fan of this guy. But don’t tell me you are not impress with all his movies. Most of them are box office isn’t it? Shutter Island is Psychological Thriller which my favorite genre when it comes to movie. This is about a guy name Teddy a US Marshall believes that shutter island have hidden mystery behind all those psychotic people living in the area. In the end, the movie revealed about Teddy as one of those psychotic people creating his own story in his multiple personality. Isn’t it intriguing? I so love psychotic film! 8 star for this movie!.

6. Titanic (3D)- Still my all time favorite is Titanic! It’s now on 3D. Can’t get enough of Jack and Rose romantic scene. The dramatic hands in the car, the bare naked rose and the flying scenario shouting “I’m the King of the world”. 10 star for this movie!

Long months again I haven’t checked my blog or visit some of your wonderful site. I guess my blogging commitment is already vanished. I hope not. Lately we are facing a very difficult case in our nursing life here in Jordan. This topic is already a big issue since February but only became more intense this month. Our hospital is being unkind to us. There are lot’s of mismanagement and lies behind all are hard work and perseverance. They are being unfair, rude and most of all a cheater. We already have our 2 years here and we are privilege to have our 45 to 60 days of vacation leave from our work. However the hospital is trying to deceive us and making a story to refrain us from our vacation. My colleagues are fed up and so they end up resigning from our job and return back to Philippines. We are left by 6 nurses who haven’t resign yet from our job including me. I’m still hoping that our management can resolve this problem in definite time. But cheer up guys! don’t be sad because of this sudden situation. We are definitely be okay for whatever the decision of the company for us. I’m hoping you shared your prayer for us.

Nowadays, I’m having trouble with my inner and outer persona. Sometimes I’m thinking that I’ve wasted a lot of my time to nothing. I know the fact that this is a stepping stone to my dreams. But while you are growing up you tend to be more serious in your future career. I was thinking that I will not be a nurse forever. There is no retirement in this profession. But I wanted another life. I guess maybe at the age of 30′s I might resigned from this job and become an entrepreneur. I wished to become a business savvy rather than a busy nurse in the hospital. I wanted to become the boss. the manager. the owner. I know I sound like a dreamer and ambitious but everyone started from here. You try to see what life could offer to you rather than be contented to what you are now. In the long run, it was you.. you choose to what you become. I know nothing about business. But I have this urge to learned. Someone posted a status in my facebook saying “The main reason why people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money, but never learn to have money work for them.” – R.K I know that your thinking that money is the reason for all this change in my plans. However you are wrong. The change in my plans is that life has lot of things to offer. You should have the time in your hands rather to be controlled by someone. Being a businessman takes lot of time to learned but once you know how to control the market. Everything will work for you. You have the time to spend with your family and friends. You can attend special occasions because you have no excuses that your management doesn’t allowed you to go. You are the boss. Although, there is negative site of being the boss of your own business. I can say that it’s just all up to you. Are you gonna become a winner or a bankrupt.. I guess we all want to become the successful people in our simple ways. Everybody has the right to choose what is he gonna be.
